My name is Monika Koenig. I was born and raised in Germany. I came to Fort Worth in 1976. I started working for Child Care Associates as a Teacher Assistant in 1996. After intense training, I was promoted to my current position as Center Director at Carson Child Development Center.

Working for the company has given me a close look from the inside out about how important affordable quality child care is for our children and their families. Our center is part of a collaboration with Birdville ISD.  The children here get the best of both worlds; being taught by Birdville ISD teachers and Head Start teachers.

My greatest success is seeing our children move into the public school system and knowing that they have the skills to get ahead and to achieve their potential.
