My name is Irish LaJune Sash. This is my fifth year as Director at Station 12 Child Development Center, and I really love the idea that I am being paid to do something that I love to do.

I have worked here at Station 12 for 24 years. I started in August of 1984 as a Teacher Assistant in the two year old classroom and then, a Teacher. I became the Assistant Director, and now, I am the Director. Over those 24 years, I have come to realize just how important my job is to my parents and the children that I serve.

My educational background began at TCC, and I’ve taken classes at UTA and Texas Women’s University.

I have attained my Child Development Associate.

I have learned that our children and our parents need us. It has been and will continue to be an honor to provide the services that are required to help children and families succeed.
